In response to the owner's reply: We truly understand how a Grandma's pie should taste, which is why we ordered it. Unfortunately, it was neither thin nor crispy; instead, it was overcooked and burnt. Fresh mozzarella should not be paper-thin, and the salad was certainly not generously topped—this claim is simply not accurate. If your response had reflected genuine regret or offered to rectify the situation, we might have considered giving you another chance, especially since we visit Point Pleasant once a month. However, it seems that, because we were just visitors ordering delivery to our hotel, our experience did not matter to you.
Great food and they are well prepared for take out! I ordered one evening while vacationing in the area. We had a dinner, salad and two slices to go. When i picked up, it was nicely boxed for easy carry out ?? . Dressing for salad came on the side, utensils were included and individually packaged. Without me even asking! We all agreed food was delicious; the hubs and our 2 kids under 12. The only gripe, from my oldest, was the slice was a little dry. We ordered late 8:20PM, so I could understand why it was, but not knocking a star for that.

We ordered from Dimatteo’s at my job. We informed the employee taking the order that we had to have our pizza arrive by an exact time, due to our lunch being at the same time and for the same duration each day. We were assured that that would not bean issue. Our lunch break came and the pizza still was not here. We did not receive our pizza until 20 minutes after our lunchbreak ended. In addition to the pizza arriving past our lunch break, it was also cold. We will not be ordering from Dimatteo’sagain.

It?s really hot out and great time to try Dematteo restaurant. Great staff including Taryn, Shaun, the delivery driver all working at this decent Italian restaurant in the heart of PP, NJ! Once inside, there are assorted specialty pizza slices behind the glass ready to be heated and served quickly. Fresh bakery steak roll, filled with beef, red sauce is almost as good as mine (LOL) and surprisingly good. This place offers a large menu filled with numerous Italian specialties. Give it a go!
We ordered Dimatteo with me. We informed the employee about the order that we had to get our pizza at a precise time, as our lunch is at the same time and for the same duration every day. We were sure it wasn't a problem. Our lunch break came and the pizza wasn't here yet. We only got our pizza 20 minutes after lunch. Besides the pizza arriving at our lunch break, it was also cold. We will not order from Dimatteo again.
Update 6/20/23: The pizza is still enjoyable, but everything else fell short. The cheesesteak was overly salty and a bit burnt, and it was clear that the chicken wings and zucchini fries were frozen. Covid has changed a lot, but increasing prices while serving lower quality food is not a good approach. Consistency in quality is essential. At this point, I can only recommend the pizza.
Great pizza spot right off the beach! They have a wide range of gourmet slices like penne pasta pizza, white pizza, Sicilian, Las Vegas, and more! We got the Sicilian, White Slice with roasted red peppers, and the Vodka Chicken as well as some Garlic Knots. Delicious! Will be back!

What an amazing place! I truly love the food here, and the service was exceptional. A special shoutout to Sean, the friendly young man at the front. After I placed my order, he even gave me a back massage! I really enjoy visiting this restaurant.
Pizza was terrible tasting- both the gluten free and peperoni mushroom. It also arrived slightly folded with cheese falling off a couple of slices. Literally tasted like cardboard. What a waste of
