Din Tai Fung - Reservar una mesa

I was so excited to finally try this place out because they are known for the famous Xiao Long Boa and I remember watching an episode where Anthony Bourdain went to in Taiwan and it was amazing! The wait is usually extremely long so I have waited until now. However, I was left so disappointed. We ordered many different versions of their Xiao long bao and what I was looking forward to that thin wrap around a hot pouch of soup with meat stuffing, but that was not the case that day. The wrapper was deliciously thin as known and I loved it. However, the Xiao long bao was barely warm and there was really no soup. Poked the bao to release soup and it was barely a sliver of soup, tired another one...

This place is very good, i don't like that it's located in a shopping mall, we had a party of 7 but online they only allow 6, we made reservations 2 days prior someone told us to come sometime before our 330 reservation and they'd accommodate us. However, once we arrived, they seemed inconvenienced to cater to 7, even though we put it online 2 days prior. Thankfully, we didn't wait past our reservation time to be seated. We were served by Yanna, who made sure we were well taken care of the entire time of our visit. The food is AMAZING!! I've never been here nor any place like it. Only my third time at Din Tai Fung and it was amazing! We met some friends and enjoyed a great meal. Drew, our waiter, was so attentive and friendly. Tried the pork/shrimp dumplings, the spicy wontons, hot/sour soup, and a few other items. Everything was so good!! We will definitely go back.

Always great quality food...never disappoints. I prefer their dumplings, wonton, and fried rice over their other items. Their service has come a long way compared to 10+ years ago. Just double check your receipt before you pay just in case your new waiter gets it wrong the first time.

Best Taiwanese food I have tried! Frkn Delicious ! Service was great and our server was so sweet. Putting my name down in the waiting list was the best option. They take reservations. If you go as a walk in, you might be waiting about 1-2 hours, but all worth it

Unacceptable lining experience. They gave us the check in message through text, but in the app we still need to wait for 10 more table. And we are removed from the waitlist. Staff on front desk is dumb. Fix your tech problems or you will lose all your customer.

The wait line of this in south coast plaza was just too long. However, it is expected that the food will be much better than those from Paradise Dynasty

Went here for Father’s Day and did not disappoint. They messed up an order but then quickly corrected it! Everything including dessert was delicious!
