Our most recent visit was, sadly, rather disappointing. Our server Melissa was excellent! It was the food that was not on par with past visits. The (meat) gravy, marinara sauce, and the ravioli (filling) all were salty, almost unbearably so. I understand salt is a good seasoning to elevate the flavor of food, but it absolutely should NOT be so overwhelming that it dries out one's mouth, and elevates one's blood pressure (who already has high blood pressure)! I cook Italian food at home and I've eaten Italian food cooked by Italians and never was salt used so excessively that it overpowered the actual flavors and other ingredients in the food. My wife and I dined at Dino's a few times and enjoyed everything about it. The food, atmosphere, service and prices are great. Ate there last night again and ordered the veal parm with ravioli and the Italian salad. The salad was very good. What I've found after ordering different entrees each visit is that the sauce can overpower the plate. It's good, but I should order half sauce. I'm looking forward to going back and trying their pizza.Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly. Our kids are adults but small kids should find it comfortable and the memorabilia interesting. The food was phenomenal and for a great price! I got the spaghetti and meatballs and it tasted like coming home and eating a big plate of spaghetti that my mom cooked. My husband got the lasagna and said it was excellent. We got the tiramisu even though we were both full and it was out of this world and worth every bite!

I.love.Dino’s! I went with a friend and he ordered the half Muffuletta sandwich, which he highly recommends, and I ordered my usual, Eggplant Parmesan with raviolis and spinach. The eggplant is always fried crispy and their sauce is divine. The spinach has just the right amount of garlic. The service is great as well.
Best Italian comfort food. Definitely the food you want to take home and enjoy watching a movie or surprising a loved one. The restaurant is a comfortable and historic atmosphere. You can bring your own wine for dine in. Definitely a great casual place to take a large family or a dinner for two.
Left Memphis forty years ago but still come home to visit family. Dino 's is a regular stop every time. Don 't know why some refer to this place as a 'hole in the wall '. It is unique, charming, and has terrific food and the nicest server ever! Love me some Dino 's pasta and cheesecake!
Amazing food, I loved this restaurant!The server was friendly, and the wait was fast. The salad was very good, as was the stuffed pasta! I later tried the muffalatta, delicious!If you want good food at a good price, you now know where to get it.

Read about this place on a blog for inexpensive dates, and while my finace amd our bill was cheap the service and establishment are top notch. Food was delicious, and the atmosphere was so welcoming. 10 outta 10.Food: 5/5
