i’ve been here twice… both for shabu shabu. of course, the quality is not equal to places in little tokyo… but c’mon, we’re 30 miles from. So the menu is essentially: Shabu Shabu or Sukiyaki. The difference? >Shabu Shabu: cook meats veggies in boiling water, dip into the 2 sauces provided, and enjoy >Sukiyaki: cook meats veggies in simmering soysauce-flavored broth, dip in raw eggs, and enjoy so, back to the Shabu Shabu… you can choose rib-eye steak (priced by weight in oz), chicken, seafood, or veggies only. the order comes with a veggie plater of napa cabbage, carrot sticks, broccoli, mushrooms, tofu, udon clear noodles. they set an individual pot of boiling water with 1 dinky piece of sea...

First off, the service is outstanding and the staff are VERY nice. They check on you continuously and fill your drink regularly. The food was very tasty and great quality, I had the prime beef that was fantastic, I had the XXXL portion that was of moderate size but filling but the price was a little high. The fresh ramen noodles were fantastic, the portion was a little bit small but very tasty. The only negative I would say is the variety of vegetables with the meal, it was mainly cabbage and not a lot of variety that other Shabu places serve. First time here. Group of 3 arrived right when they opened for dinner at 5, open seating. Very nice server, explained the menu to us and how to order. We had lots of questions and she answered them all graciously and went back to confirm with a co-worker for something she wasn't 100% about. I got the ninja size (smallest size of 3), dip choice cut (which was perfect since I like to eat a lot of veggies) in spicy miso soup with udon noodles. Food came out quick. Waitress offered a spicy oil, I had 1 drop in my dipping sauces which was plenty spicy. All in all, great shabu shabu with good vibes. I think next time I'll try the tonkatsu.

My second time eating here. I always feel great after eating shabu shabu. It's so healthy and satisfying. I love vegetables so I order the Vegetable Medley and clear noodles. They also serve brown rice as an alternative option which I like as well. Really nice experience. It doesn't get very crowded at dinner time and there was no wait time around 6-6:30pm. Missed shabu shabu so I headed here to celebrate my birthday. I haven't been since the change of ownership but it still looked like the one I'd go to in brea. Decided to go big or go home and went with the WAGYU, what a disappointment. The meat was unbearably chewy. Everything else seemed to be good though. The veggies were good quality and the sukiyaki was tasty. The PRIME RIB was where it was at for sure. If I go back id get prime rib for sure. The servers were fantastic! So nice and helpful.

One of my favorite shabu spots. The soup is great and the quality of food is top. Always coming back here when i have shabu cravings. The servers are always around and the environment is very creative always something to look at.
