It didn’t have that delightful crunch that makes you go “Mmm.” For instance, Louisiana fried chicken has a crispy coating that is packed with flavor, and even KFC wings have a nice taste to them, even without any sauce.

There are two Legend Chicken locations in this area, and I think this one is the better choice. The spice level is serious, so if you think hot Cheetos are spicy, you'll want to stick to the mild option. The sandwich combo is a fantastic deal, and I usually go for the medium heat with coleslaw—it's always crispy and tasty. The fries are well-seasoned and served in generous portions. I’ve never visited when it was really busy, so the service has always been quick. The plaza offers plenty of parking, too. If you're searching for a contender in the chicken sandwich wars, Legends definitely holds its own!
My son an I go to Legends in Hawaiian Gardens at least 1-2 times a month. We have tried many of the local chicken places and they can't Cluck it. The heat on this chicken is on point. I haven't gotten to the hottest level yet. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They haven't always been very nice to my son and me. The ambiance of the restaurant is very casual and laid back. They have plenty of TV to catch a game if needed.

Solid spot for fried chicken. Husband felt like it was not crispy enough and felt more like the breading on chicken sandwiches instead of friend chicken, if that makes sense? They do appear to be known for their sammies though so maybe we'll be back to try those next time. Service was okay. I also thought it was funny they had a sign up saying they no longer offer refunds if the food is too spicy xD
The food here is quite delicious and incredibly fresh! Since I'm not a fan of spicy food, I usually opt for the plain options. The tenders and sandwiches are definitely excellent choices. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5!
This is a great restaurant with generous portion sizes. I appreciate being able to select the spiciness level of my meal. Oh, and did I mention they offer beer? As for parking, there's plenty of space available in the shopping center lot.
Absolutely, their wings are legendary! However, be cautious—what they label as "mild" is still quite spicy, and the hottest option could strip the chrome off a trailer hitch! There's no do-over for mistakes, so take this as your warning!
