Well, if we had just ordered the Nashville hot sandwich, the rating would be higher. Clearly that sandwich is the winner. The southern smoked sandwich was just not even in the same class. So let's start with the winner. The chicken was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of heat. A slow after-burn on the tongue, but not in a bad way. The relish toping was crisp and was a nice contrast to the heat and flavor of the chicken. The bun was fresh and soft and overall this is a fantastic sandwich. There is a reason they are selling out almost every night! Dirty Bird has to be the best ghost kitchen in cleveland!! Ordering you've got to call and know DB exists when you call. They are housed in Michael's with no signage you have to KNOW DB is there. You'll be picking up the best fried chicken when everyone else is picking up pizzas. We got the Nashville Chicken sandwich and WOW. The perfect amount of heat balanced by the most amazing slaw (that I need the recipe for) on top of dark meat chicken that isn't over breaded all in between two thick buns. Awesome ghost kitchen out of Michael’s Genuine in Van Aken! We’ve tried the bowls and the loaded fries. They did not disappoint! The chicken was cooked to perfection and everything tasted great. Food was hot and ready on time, and a lot of food for a great value! This concept and menu definitely fills the hole in the east side market for fried chicken! Highly recommend!
Ordered with 2 other people yesterday and me and the 1 other person who tried the Nashville hot bowl got sick at the same time at 3am. the other person who ordered the Nashville hot sandwich felt fine. Went into to pickup online order I was the only person in there sat there for 10 minutes at least until I was acknowledged waited another ten minutes at least then was given the wrong order the whole time the manager obviously sat on his laptop nonchalantly with no care to the restaurant
