I am so disappointed by Dish Restaurant!!! It was only 6:30 a.m. and they were already known from the traditional turkey dinner....what... actually?? Then the server takes 10 minutes to come to us too big, no bus drivers come with water, nothing....AND NO THEY WERE NOT BUSY!!! Completely unacceptable....they should have been better prepared and only because your haste may have been over does not mean that you remain silent on the rest of us with reservations! I didn't need NEGATIVE recommendations.
I really enjoyed this place! It has a coffee shop vibe with mismatched tables and chairs, and the entire place just has a really fun, relaxed vibe. The food was very good and very affordable compared to many places like it. It's a great place to go with families and kids. There is easy parking also which is great. We'll definitely be back! A great place to go before or after your Descanso Gardens experience, as it's literally around the corner (maybe 4 minutes).
Perfectly serviceable breakfast, but my family refuses to go back for any other meal. Caution about asking for extra salsa or other sauces, as you'll find an exorbitant cost added to your check, usually without warning. That's fine but, when I received my degree in Hospitality Management, I learned that you nickel-and-dime a customer at your own risk. 100% simply adequate.
So we have been here twice, and the food has been good. But there’s something off about it the staff interacts with other tacks with big smiles, but not us. Take the order. Drop off the food, fill up the glasses, drop off the check. There’s nothing wrong with it but it’s not welcoming.

This establishment took me back to what was a true American breakfast. The only problem is that it's really far from where I live. I wish there were more restaurants like this! Thank you staff and management!
