There were hardly six dishes available, and there was no bread offered with any of them, which forced us to purchase it separately (thankfully, it arrived fresh and was the best thing we had that day!). The quality of the dishes was poor, with some being so overly salty that we regretted choosing this place. The dessert selection was dismal, featuring just a single, unappealing serving of Rice Kheer. Despite the unsatisfactory food, the price remains unchanged for this underwhelming buffet experience.
Overall, it was a terrible experience with the buffet lunch and the food quality. I will not be returning here again!
Visited on Wednesday at 11:30 to have everything you can eat. The buffet was not ready, so we waited 30 minutes. They served two meats (both chickens) and a few vegetable curries with rice. Naan is an additional fee and they had Kheer (rice pudding) for the only Dessert offer. My mother-in-law is Indian, so my standards are very high, but unfortunately this place was somewhat below average in every respect. Went here for Lunch buffet. They have maybe 5 entrees (3 vegetarian and 2 chicken dishes) in addition to rice and some potato cakes. Bread is extra you have to pay separately. They also have some rice pudding dessert. Im very satisfied with the dishes. Its also very affordable at $15 per person. Very filling. I'm going to Diwan, probably about 10 years, now the buffet is why I'm going. It is not a ton of overwhelming decisions - just a small amount of always fresh tasty dishes. That said, post pandemic the buffet has shrunk its elections more it is not so much fun I am very disappointed. It was my place for a fun lunch with my husband or a friend even those who said that they did not trust me like Indian foods! For an al a carte meal I feel it too expensive, but still delicious!

Wow!! did not expect this quality of Indian Restaurant here on Long Island. I have been a connoisseur of Indian food for years. When it's good, it's fantastic. When it's not, horrible. This place was simply fantastic. From the Samosa to the Tandoor chicken to the Chicken Tikka Masala to the Aloo S and the Vindaloo dishes. Cannot wait to go back. This is on par with the Diwan in Manhattan and the Jackson Diner (same owner) in Astoria. Recommend to anyone.
Top tier Indian restaurant located on Long Island. Very good service and food. Quality of the food is at its best. Their bread (Naan) is a must have one. I love chili garlic naan well done. Some of the vegetarian entrees are not up to the mark. But yellow daal and daal makhni are the best.
I ordered takeout and later dined in at the restaurant. The food is amazing—so delicious and creamy! I highly recommend this place for high-quality Indian cuisine. I had the paneer makhani and butter naan, which is the perfect combination. The food was served quickly and efficiently.
Great place! Food was excellent and freshly prepared. They even accommodated my wife with a special request for white meat only in her chicken tikka. Portions were very large and flavorful. Service was terrific and staff was very knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.
