I had the most amazing homemade chicken burger paired with a Greek side salad. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious! Typically, when dining out, you might encounter disappointing, hard pink tomatoes, but not here. The tomato on my burger was the freshest and ripest I've seen in ages, complemented by fresh cucumbers, pickled onions, feta cheese, and an incredible seeded bun—so tasty! That said, I have to be honest about my experience. The ladies' room was far from clean and had an unpleasant odor. Additionally, the prices were quite steep—$30 for two kids' chicken tenders and fries, and $27.95 for a roast chicken dinner that included just one breast and one thigh. They don't offer a senior menu or any discounts for older patrons, which I found surprising considering my 80+ year-old mother was dining with me.
We shared two appetizers and one dessert, with no main courses, and our bill, plus a 25% tip, totaled $173. With dirty tables and such high prices, I worry that this restaurant may drive itself out of business. Unfortunately, this was my only visit.
I am never the type to leave a review but my experience here was one of the worst I’ve had in a while.Everything on the menu is $20 or very close to it, if it’s not an appetizer.The food was okay… but would I spend $20 on some waffles that I could make better at home for a tenth of the price.Service was beyond terrible. The waiter barely took our order and then proceeded to ignore our table for the entire duration of being there. He finally realized after 10 minutes of not eating that we were ready for the check and asked if we wanted boxes, 2 of us and he brought one box but not the check, thanks.Won’t be returning
We order a chicken suvlaki Greek plater.They gave us grilled chicken with lettuce and tomatoes in a pitta bread. With french fries on the side.We communicate our disappointment and the manager came to our table and told us that that was the way they do it.We said if you don 't do the real Plato don 't advertise as such. He responded we don 't care how other places do it this is the way we do it here in other words shut up and deal with it.2 minutes later the table across ours complained about the changes on anter plato...This is not longer the restaurant used to be.Very sad.

I had a wonderful dinner with generous portions and classic Long Island menu favorites. They also serve breakfast around the clock. As for accessibility, there is designated parking for handicapped individuals and a ramp, although the doors are manual.

This is my third time here. Don't get to come to this community often. However when I am in this community and I have the time I stop at the Dix Hill diner because the food is delicious.
It does what a diner is supposed to do. But nothing special. Our server, older lady serving in the dining room was excellent. For a busy Easter Sunday, I’m grateful they were open.
