We had a fabulous lunch here.. 3 for 2 starters.. magnificent nachos, stunning guacamole, soured cream gorgeous autumnal veg soup, amazing gougons. Lasagne..just delightful amazing steak mince pie...exceptional pastry. Brilliant atmosphere...strangers were very comfortable talking to us,we loved it, the waitress was fantastic. Excellent food for a local cosy pub, very welcoming staff..impressed at the attention to detail..by the staff.. evening you want from good service. I recently enjoyed a family meal with 8 of us in total. We tried 5 different dishes and every single one was superb. We will definitely be coming back! The pub has been renovated excellently. The price per person was between £10–20. The food, service, and atmosphere were all rated 5 out of 5.

This is a fantastic pub with delicious food at a reasonable price. The service provided by the gentleman from the North East was excellent. The atmosphere was pleasant and calming, with a friendly staff. The cozy log fire added to the charm of the place. I definitely plan on returning, as it has a nice little country pub vibe.
