We had a fabulous lunch here.. 3 for 2 starters.. magnificent nachos, stunning guacamole, soured cream gorgeous autumnal veg soup, amazing gougons. Lasagne..just delightful amazing steak mince pie...exceptional pastry. Brilliant atmosphere...strangers were very comfortable talking to us,we loved it, the waitress was fantastic. Excellent food for a local cosy pub, very welcoming staff..impressed at the attention to detail..by the staff.. evening you want from good service. This is a fantastic pub with delicious food at a reasonable price. The service provided by the gentleman from the North East was excellent. He even gave us a water bowl and some treats for our Labrador as soon as we walked in. We will definitely be returning! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The food was mediocre, the wine selection was disappointing, and the restroom facilities were lacking. However, the outdoor seating area in front of the restaurant was pleasant.
On Christmas Eve, the restaurant was very crowded, but we were able to stop by for a drink. The service and atmosphere both received a rating of 4.
