Dogfish Head Alehouse- Fairfax

I would definitely come back after Thai first experience. I was surprised it wasn?t busier on a Saturday night, but that just meant there was plenty of space and no wait! People who greeted me were very friendly, and our waitress was great- very personable and attentive. Our group of 3 had a soft pretzel appetizer, the salmon plate, and 2 chicken Cesar salads. I had my chicken blackened and loved it, and I was raving about the croutons haha. We also got 2 brownie sundaes,

Perhaps we came in on a bad night...our server was barely around. We'd have to flag her down for a drink order. Food was ok, nothing really special. The dessert killed it for me. This is the apple crisp dessert..lol nothing like what I read from the menu. How could they charge ppl for this? Dessert should be Happy happy...not sad.

The beer is world class and I’ve been a fan for years, the restaurant is very nice with a patio area too. The menu is loaded with classic American food and the food was good, but come for the beer, it’s what they are famous for.

I enjoyed this place. They gave a great beer selection. I had the 60 Minute IPA. It was great. Service was good. Decor was nice. I would definitely recommend this place.
