Dolcezza Gelato

Very crowded Gelato and coffee joint. If you go anytime after 9 pm on a weekend, expect a line out the door.They let you sample flavors and are super nice about it. There is very limited seating so you might have to take your gelato or coffee on the road. Some stand up tables are near the windows. We had the Sichuan peppercorn pistachio, the mascarpone berry, and the hazelnut crackle. I would totally go back for the hazelnut crackle. I didn't taste the sichuan peppercorn in the pistachio but it was still good. The mascarpone berry was ok but I would swap out for another flavor. It was around $6.70 for 3 flavors. Decent price for DC Chinatown.

This place was delicious and convenient when downtown pricing is about average for the area but the staff (except one grumpy guy) was phenomenal. It's about a block more of a walk then where I used to go but very worth as well enjoyed the variety of coffee If your in the area and want a sweet treat or delicious coffee give it a try

Probably the best coffee quality I've ever had in the dmv area. I really enjoyed the gelato too. There were soft cookie pieces inside and I was blown away by how it stays soft with the ice cream. Definitely a great location in dc and totally would recommend to any coffee lover and ice cream fanatic

I have hazelnut and coffee and biscuit ice cream and they were both great! I would definitely get the hazelnut coffee back, it was my favorite. The atmosphere was so cute and the outdoor area of the ice shop was so funny! The service was fast and everyone was so friendly. Would definitely return.

Third time here. I tried the vanilla bean for the first time and it was delicious. Every flavor I have tried thus far has been outstanding. Quality ingredients and unique choices. The server was very friendly and allowed me to sample a few flavors. We came late at night and the place lively.
