We first visited Domaine de Rodie two years ago ( see previous review, 2013), and enjoyed our visit so much , that we vowed to return in 2014. Unfortunately, but understandably, Rodie was completely booked up for the days we requested, and so we had to find alternative accommodation. This year, we left nothing to chance, and booked two nights, dinner, bed and breakfast, at the earliest opportunity. We were delighted when our booking was accepted, and looked forward to our visit with eager anticipation.We arrived, tired, wet and bedraggled, after an 80k cycle ride in torrential rain, from our previous night's accommodation. Eric en ik hebben ons hart gevolgd naar le Domaine de Rodié en andermaal blijkt het hart de beste gids te zijn. Midden in deze nog ongerepte natuur van de Haut Languedoc, aan de oevers van de Orb, vonden we een paradijselijk oord waar we helemaal tot rust zijn gekomen. Charlotte, Joeri en Ken maakten van ons verblijf een droomvakantie. De juiste balans tussen aandacht en respect voor privacy: een delicate oefening waar dit talentvolle trio met brio in slaagt.Na onze dagelijkse uitstapjes in de streek lokte de voortreffelijke en gezonde keuken van le Domaine de Rodié ons telkens terug naar "huis". Joeri en Ken maken van elk bordje een festijn met een overvloed aan seizoensgroenten en zorgvu...
Sehr schoen gelegenes Restaurant,sehr freundlicher Empfang und Bedienung.Essen wird aus guten Zutaten zubereitet und geht von deftig bis sehr fein und immer sehr gut schmeckend.Man kann sich auch von der Lage und der Geschichte des Hauses ein wenig verzaubern lassen,auf jeden Fall interessant.Im Winter geschlossen!!
Such a lovely place with friendly service and great food but unfortunately owners cats are allowed to wander freely around the outside dining area which I find totally unacceptable in what is an upmarket restaurant.

A hidden treasure. Simply superb. Outstanding service. Perfect food. In a stunning location. One of the most perfect lunches I've had. Will be coming back a lot! Thank you.
Really great bartenders--very friendly and speak fluent English. Cool live music some nights and also have a great seating area outside.
We didn't stop to eat hereWe just sat to enjoy listening to the guy playing his guitar and singing while we had a bottle of Rose.
Absolutely loved it ! stunning surroundings and great food, definitely coming back when I'm next out in France
