After a long hiatus, we decided to return to Dome Currambine in WA to see if anything had changed since our last visit. Great news!!!! Lots has changed at that place and for the better too. The management team has changed and a new team of staff are onboard, all bursting with energy and enthusiasm to serve their customers. The cafe has a pleasant vibe with music playing at reasonable levels in the background and not interrupting easy conversations among family or friends. The menu is a significant step-up from the previously static and limited range. The Dome Cafe in Currambine is another great addition to this chain of cafe's around Perth. This is going to become a favourite of mine for two reasons: 1 it's very spacious and open unlike some of the Dome Cafe's which can be crammed full of tables/chairs too close to each other 2 it has a great new park right next to it, so ideal for grabbing some breakfast/brunch/lunch/coffee then heading to the park to burn it off ; The restaurant has 3 options for seating; an alfresco area with about 6 tables overlooking the car park, main road and playground (in the distance , spacious downstairs area with booths and long tables for large groups and an upstairs area for smaller tables. Dome Currambine is located behind the Currambine Shopping Centre and cinema complex and is situated alongside the beautiful Delamere Park. This is a great place to dine with your dog as the outside dining area is sheltered, so you can dine here even if its raining. There are large dog bowls already set up, and you can tie your dog up to the railing while you enjoy your meal.
Dome is convenient, but it doesn't leave much of an impression. The scones seem like they’re just defrosted and lack flavor, with no fruit. The service is average. I'm hopeful that things will improve over time, as we haven't given up on Dome at Currambine yet. I look forward to updating this review in the future. Reserva una mesa ahora
I ordered The Big Breakfast with poached eggs and white bread toast, and it was fantastic. The bacon was crispy, the hash browns were perfectly crunchy, and the eggs were cooked just right, oozing beautifully. I also loved the atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly friendly, providing excellent service.
Nice coffee but no love in presentation. I ordered a very hot large coffee and when it was served to me there was no napkin around the very hot glass so I could actually hold it without burning my fingers. Staff should be shown how to show a bit of love and take initiative with presentation.
This restaurant has a typical vibe, offering the same menu as others. However, it boasts a lovely location away from the hustle and bustle of the shopping center. The food is consistently served quickly and is quite delicious. We usually go for the salads and chicken parmigiana.
