Visited on a Saturday evening and walked into a busy place, greeted and placed upstairs which felt a little out of the way. After 20mins we where offered a table downstairs that we took as we didn’t have menu’s or even ordered a drink. After seating our order was taken quite quick and was good and tasty but after this it was down hill from there. We had to chase drinks after 20mins and after 2 hours still hadn’t received our food and chased with a look of dismay as they though we had eaten it!!!! But still didn’t offer dessert or coffee Service was poor but put this down to poor management and no structure at all and not even recognition of poor service or any offer of a apology by anyone. I’ll keep this short sweet- our first visit to Don Luigi in Culcheth yesterday evening was an absolute pleasure. It’s been a while since my family and I have dined in a local restaurant which serves such fresh, flavoursome, brilliant Italian food. Evidently, the food is created by Chef’s who love to cook and take great pride in their work. The service was impeccable friendly and attentive. I could go on and on with the positive comments! I have a feeling that this restaurant will become a firm favourite of ours and we are looking forward to our next meal. Grazie mille!
This is my 4th or 5th visit to this lovely little restaurant and, again, I wasn't disappointed! Absolutely fantastic in every sense, from the bread (which apparently takes 2 days to make) served with oil and balsamic vinegar, to the tiramisu. I normally go for a pasta dish (and am never disappointed) but tonight I decided to switch it up and order the sea bass... Wow, what a dish the best I've tasted!! In summary... Staff: really friendly Atmosphere: relaxed, authentic, Food: delicious Wine (always go for a caraf of the red): spot on But don't take my word for it...
We used to come here years ago when the previous owner had the restaurant. We were very impressed with the quality of the food and good service. We had cheesy garlic bread and ribs to start, both were tasty, the sauce on the ribs was great. Our main meals included pasta, pizzas and a chicken and spinach risotto. The pizzas were delicious, made with fresh dough bases and the risotto was really tasty. Nice coffee and ice creams for afters. Very good value for money. Thanks for a lovely evening, we will be back!

Back again to our fave Italian! Never fail, staff are so friendly would like to say thank you to Elouise and Mimi who always look after us. The restaurant always has a lovely atmosphere. Also the chef 10/10 Wele be back again as always! Elizabeth Dean X

Not been since the new owners have taken over, but the food and service was excellent. I would Definity recommend this place to anyone who wants excellent Italian food
I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough , excellent food great service and reasonably priced , the sticky toffee pudding is to die for

Manager was rude and rushed us to eat the meal.out with 7 friends and because we were young, she spoke to us rudely and was patronising.
Attractive and welcoming restaurant. Our server Elloise was brilliant, attentive and helpful. We'll be back xx
