Don Ramon Mexican Grill Cantina

My first visit was for lunch. They have twenty five lunch options plus one or two extra daily items from seasonal options. I chose lunch special #22 sautéed shrimp with crush red peppers. Yummy! A little heat but not scorching hot. You also get a large basket of chips and salsa. I will be back. I returned for another lunch. Antonio was my server. Great service. This time I had lunch special #8 sautéed shrimp with onions and creamy Chipotle sauce, served with lettuce, pico de gallo and rice (see pictures). The creamy Chipotle mild, smoked sauce provided a mild, smokey heat. YUMMY! Had ice tea to drink and the complimentary chips and salsa. Again, I will return for another lunch soon. I return...

Two words. Taco Loco! This should be the signature meal. The menu does not give enough credit to this gem. It is an oversized taco with chicken, beef and shrimp, cooked to perfection! It contains a medley of tomatoes, zucchini, onions and cheese sauce to bind it all. The crispy homemade dish is my favorite. Not the crispy crispy taste you would expect, more like a layered, almost flaky shell. Very unique. This is my way to order here, I have tried nothing else and have gone to all their locations for years! I made all my friends believers! Chips are always served fresh and warm. The Mexican restaurant of Don Ramon was another place of other Mexican restaurants. The interior of the restaurant was your typical atmosphere with Mexican music on the back. The menu was another story. These pictures showed that the food preparation had a cooking touch; therefore the plates would be expensive. Do not pay attention to the dishes price when the presentation with a good taste food. All I can say from this experience in the Mexican restaurant of Don Ramon: the presentation was a 10, but a 7 on the food flavor. Total; the food was good with the exception of the streets tacos, the tacos was the reason for the low rate and the hostess lacked a greeting training.

It was my best birthday we had a party of 7 but I know how it was in the hospitality industry so I tried to control the table that we ordered our drinks they sent another employee to the table that we changed our order my party changed it so that I know that the drilling lol the service was good I had to tip on anoter check because we spilt the bill cash she didn't let her pay. When they sing happy birthday, the hat she put on her head has an amazing story, please visit this place the food is great.

Good, fast friendly service. Food was good, lots of variety on the menu. The first time I tried Chilequiles. Sis for burrito taco Ask for the house made hot sauce, it is delicious.
