Domodachi - Reserva de mesa

Domodachi faces the challenge of competing with the legacy of Nizi Sushi, which previously occupied the same location, and a significant number of Rutherford residents remain loyal to either Nizi or Yellowtail Japanese Bistro. However, I can confidently say that Domodachi surpasses both of these restaurants. Unlike Yellowtail, which can sometimes offer overly trendy and unconventional sushi, Domodachi embraces a more traditional approach. The flavors are superior to those at Nizi, and the quality of the fish is better than what you'll find at both Nizi and Yellowtail.

Honestly, I have tried other sushi places around California and Jersey foremost but honestly, the taste of doomadachi will forever have a place in my heart. The amazing people behind the art of sushi and it’s always contents my hungry heart. I miss this place so much because there is nothing like home. Next time I visit New Jersey, I will stop by again and visit my sushi home. Love this place and so are you. Trust me.

We ordered some food for pick up on our way home. The staff were super friendly and food is great! They are really good at what they do. What surprises us the most was that they even gave us additional 3 small sample dishes with a lovely notes!Our experience is beyond amazing! Will be back :

I stumbled upon this restaurant about three years ago and have been in love with it ever since. The food is consistently excellent and delicious, and the servers are fantastic and friendly. I don't know how this place is getting good reviews, deserves 0 stars. The edamame tasted fishy, the salmon sushi was not fresh fish and had hard rice, the rice on the rolls falls off in chunks when you pick up any piece, the specialty roll was really fishy. Horrible food.

Had sushi twice last week for the first time and probably 10 years and this place was the best of two awesome meals! The price is amazing but do not order online go to the store!The atmosphere inside is top-notch

The sushi here is quite good and reasonably priced! The female server is incredibly kind and welcoming. I’ll definitely return, largely because of her excellent service and the quality of the food.
