Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodles) is one of my favorite Vietnamese dishes, and my preferred spot in Melbourne has always been Ba Le in Footscray. Recently, I discovered that they have another location in St. Albans. While I'm not sure if it's the same franchise, the taste is very similar and the name is the same so I can only assume it is. On the other hand, compared to our usual dining spot, this restaurant is actually quite impressive. We ordered diced pork and grilled chicken on rice, both of which were very tasty. The portions were also satisfying. Unfortunately, we weren't too fond of the chili, and the soup was just average. We will definitely return to sample other dishes on the menu.

Located on the other side of where we normally go for food, this place is actually pretty good. We had diced beef and grilled chicken on rice and they were both very good. It came in decent portion as well. Too bad that we didn't really enjoy the chilli and the side soup was just average. We will come back again to try different dishes.
A local favourite. The service is one of the best and incredibly friendly staff. There are many Asian restaurants in the area and nearby but this restaurant by far has the best quality of service. A winner everytime!
Best special combo beef pho Ive had in a long time. It has a good amount of meat which are of a good variety of cuts. I know it doesnt usually come with it but I always wish it comes with some raw beef too.
I had the chicken curry special fried rice tonight and absolutely loved it. The service from the ladies was also very friendly.
