Dorian's Seafood Market is an excellent seafood shop with an impressive variety of fresh seafood. The quality of their offerings is outstanding, and the staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming. While the prices may be on the higher side, they reflect the premium quality of the products, ensuring you get value for your money. Overall, I highly recommend Dorian's Seafood Market if you're in search of top-notch seafood and fantastic service.
This must be a scam or a front that only people from the Upper East Side would be gullible enough to fall for. Nearly $50 per pound for grey sole? Seriously? That’s at most a $24 per pound fish. It’s by far the most overpriced fish market I've visited in the city. The quality isn’t better than what you’d find at an average market, and the selection isn’t impressive either. It’s puzzling how this place is still in business.
We order from them multiple days each week. If you want the best fish in the city, and you can afford to pay for the best fish in the city, this is your place.BTW the service is terrific. I’ve gone into the store several times without identifying myself as a customer just to take a look at what looks nice on a certain day. Everyone is always happy to answer questions.

This place is our to go place for fresh seafood. Dorian (owner) is so pleasant and you cant find better and fresher sea food in the city. Staff is absolutely the best and the place is spotless. Highly recommended.
I frequently make a bit of an extra effort to enjoy some of Dorian's exceptional seafood. It's always worth the trip, and adding a quality dinner to my weekly menu feels fantastic.
I buy all our seafood at this store. The folks running the market have been here for some time and they have the cleanest place and freshest selection daily.
