I visited this restaurant last Saturday, and it was truly amazing. Dining here was incredibly pleasant, and I enjoyed some of the most beautifully crafted dishes I've ever had. The chefs have thoughtfully created options for those who need milk-free alternatives, even making us a dessert that was not on the menu (and it was immense!). The staff were wonderful—friendly and laid-back, making for a relaxed atmosphere. I didn't feel rushed even as they were preparing to close. It felt like having a meal at a friend's place, which definitely deserves a big thumbs up!
sometimes this happens; you go to a place that feels right and you end up there three days in a row. we had the whole menu. Cooking is about love. it's about pride and a faint of courage. the good people of dory (a subsidiary of angelas, another amazing restaurant here) seem to know this. the result is a small and very original menu that is not disappointed. the place is also very small, but make one please and just sit at the bar, the cook before them and enjoy. that is what it is about with a restaurant. Dorys is a true delight! Although it claims to serve small plates, the portions are quite generous and the food is rich, so it's wise to be mindful of your choices. The raw bream with radish and the mackerel with yogurt were especially enjoyable, but I believe you couldn't go wrong with any dish on the menu. The service was friendly and prompt, and we were able to sit outdoors right away on a Monday evening.
What a gem! We had a lovely dinner with our friend, and I was impressed by how knowledgeable the young man was about wine. I wish they offered Slovenian wine so my friends could give it a try. Every dish was meticulously prepared and incredibly delicious, even though the kitchen was closing. I highly recommend this place if you're in Margate! We even enjoyed a little lunch there the next day!

Lovely welcoming team, relaxed atmosphere, buzzy but not loud. Delicious tapas style food plates, 5 star bread and lovely wines, which staff have been trained on. Confit squid came with melting potatoes and delicious buttery juices which saw off the wonderful bread. Dined alone and felt accompanied, wish this was round the corner from home.
amazing place to eat seafood! the waiter is really nice and friendly, thanks to this experience! we ate on the theke with the sea view, outside there was an icy wind and her hot fish soup was at this moment the perfect dish! very good also che sticky dessert with custard
Simply superb! We had a meal here twice, and always love it. The staff is super nice and gives you great knowledge of the surrounding area, the food is always delicious and the menu changes so it never gets boring!
Amazing. They really know how to make seafood~ Highly recommend the Torced Bream and Raw bass
