This is a very popular coffee shop and will get busy at peak times.The snack food with the coffee is very good, the main meals they offer are very tasty. I'm not a coffee drinker but I've been assured it's very good coffee as coffee goes.The service is good but it does seem to have this edge to it (which I've experienced a lot in Marrickville and Newtown) where you're not cool enough to be there. It has a very hipster vibe to it. It's not rude here, I've never experienced rude service, it just feels a little unwelcoming at times.
I have been here quite a few times now, with my boyfriend, friends and even by myself. The food is very fresh and tasty, the service is great and the coffee is definitely up there - and i am a fussy coffee drinker. Love the vibe in here, it's always full of people. It's even bigger than it looks from the front as it has a whole area out the back as well as at the side. My favourite is the smashed avocado salsa that comes with the fritters. The baked eggs are also a good choice. Will keep coming back here time and time again.
I loved double roasters and made it my favorite brekkie spot in marickville. The coffee is great (a bit expensive) but it comes up to its quality. My absolute favorite is the French toast. It comes with 2 slices fruit, cream and ice cream. If your up for something sweet you should order this sweet breakfast delight!
Good all round cafe for a quick catch up with friends over coffee and breakfast! The set up of the cafe is super casual and quite dim but it works with the design of the place. The coffee is pretty good and the food is typical good Sydney cafe food with enough variety.

I drove past this place so many times and never went in. I'm so glad i did today. Food was excellent service with a smile and coffee perfect. Did i mention the food was awesome.... Great price also.
I keep coming back, a favourite for a lazy Sunday breakfast and a strong coffee. Really solid menu, with some creative dishes. Service with a smile and won't break the bank, would recommend.
I don't know how do I feel about double roasters - I mean the coffee is pretty good but the pastry cabinet always looks a bit tired. Bonus points for opening early.
Amazing coffee. They do an incredible long black. For breakfast order the smashed avo and get a poached egg on top. Super cheap

What can I say, the coffee was just super delicious! I had a stick, I can only rate this, but the rest is definitely great too.
Great simple pressed bagel thin sandwiches! So much flavour despite the ingredients.
