Downtown Thai And Sushi Relocation

Wanted to get Thai food for lunch before visiting a family member who was in the hospital. Initially decided to stop by the other Thai place next door but was literally blown out of the dining room b/c the owner was using what looked like a leaf blower to blow the dust out of his dingy and dark restaurant — mind you this is 10 min after the posted opening hour. He also rudely told us to get out of the way and wait outside until he was done. I Didn’t have time for that type of attitude and lack of customer service so I decided to take my business to Charm Thai instead. Their spicy papaya salad and all curries are delicious! However, order it on Uber eats or to go if you want typical Thai portions. I originally tried it out through Uber and was so amazed so I finally went to there for dinner. The portions are so tiny for the amount of money that they charge!!! The service is great, they just need to make their customers feel like they are not wasting money on portions inside the restaurant! On another note, if you truly want “Thai spicy” mixed with great recipes, this is the number one place in Winston or any surrounding areas!!! Other restaurants don’t live up to the heat!

UPDATE 5/6/2022: I ordered my go-to order of Red Curry and was looking forward to eating something really warm for my throat since I was feeling under the weather. I had to throw the entire curry away because it was SO SALTY, and I NEVER throw away food. There was so much salt in this curry that it actually BURNED my THROAT from how salty it was. I honestly think that they must've spilled a bag of salt in this batch of curry today. I revoke my 5 star review due to their

I was originally searching for something good, but I ended up finding something great at Charm Thai. The meal was absolutely delicious, but what truly made my experience wonderful was the environment, music, decorations, and most importantly, the exceptional service. I am obsessed with this joint. As soon as you walk in you get clean tables, fast and friendly service and not to forget very delicious food. Their house fried rice is super delicious and the right amount of spicy that I love, I will come back here every chance I can get. This restaurant serves delicious food, especially their Duck noodle soup which is my favorite. I also enjoy their crispy Duck dishes. The restaurant is run by a very sweet family - the father, mother, daughter, and daughter-in-law - who create a charming atmosphere. I make sure to eat here at least once a week.

I thoroughly enjoyed my generous portion of Pho. The bowl was massive as it only came in one size. My companions ordered different dishes which also looked appetizing. The prices were quite reasonable. I definitely plan on returning to dine here again. Reserva una mesa ahora

Overall, very good food. A not more flavorful than most Thai food that I've had. The atmosphere is simple and could use some more character. But, very peaceful! Service is good and the owner thanked us for visiting.

Love, love, love this place! Every experience has been pleasant. The food is spot on and the atmosphere is quaint. No frills, good prices great food. I highly recommend this place.
