As I arrived, the place had a slightly rustic pirate ship vibe, though it has improved with new signage, a jukebox, and four flat-screen televisions showcasing the US Open. Once I was seated, I had to wait a bit longer for my order, as Diane was the only server on duty and was working hard.

used to eat this place for the last 10 years. eating is now in order and do not let me begin in the service. my family and I were immediately ignored and judged the minute we left. trust me they can feel it. the own menus, cutlery, serviettes. After ten minutes our order was finally taken. would have a second drink, but it is impossible if they were completely ignored. server only for their masters and all others, but we take care. worse experience I've ever had and totally disgusting with the service .never again. , sad that our favorite place is now nothing that I will ever consider! edit: just read another review that said exactly the same....has to say, but when they look “other” they ar...
Every time I go to DP’s I get the stuffed shrimp with fries and gravy always delicious! This time the shrimp were on the dry side and the crab stuffing was a bit fishy. Then I had the fries and although they were delish I can’t eat garlic and I got garlic sauce instead of gravy. Delish but I paid the price later for the waitresses mistake. Then be careful when you get your bill the prices will be different then what’s on the menu. 4.50 clam strips were 5.00 on the bill. 16.95 shrimp were 17.70. Although I won’t write this place off I will be more careful and speak up next time I’d I see these mistakes.
Stuffed Shrimp stuffed flounder a must have!! Cute intimate space, pretty sure people know each other there. We walked in a party of 8, straight from the beach and were treated well and the food was excellent. We were lucky according to staff to have been seated immediately, it's recommended to reserve for large accommodations. Overall a nice experience? Sorry no pictures, we were hungry?

I have been dining here for over 25 years, and the quality of the food has always been consistent. The prices are incredibly reasonable for what you receive. All of the shrimp dishes are absolutely delicious. Just remember to bring cash!
The staff is nice and friendly, we waited a little while for to be served. It was a little confusion which table ordered what, and they didn't check on you if you need anything. But the food was excellent.
I had a wonderful meal at this local restaurant. It was a fantastic experience overall, with delicious food, a lovely atmosphere, and friendly staff.
Three words to describe this place.. Sangria, sangria and sangria. It's great. Food is awesome and at a great price. Nice vibe as well.
