DQ is a classic and is always fun to go to! The ice cream is incredible and their burgers are still awesome even after all these years. I love the renovations they have done to their front counter and hope that renos/upgrades to the rest of the restaurant come along soon. While I think the prices are a bit high I won't complain too much because we all know that's just how life goes sometimes! Prices go up! But, the Dairy Queen in town is great regardless! I've gone there for cakes for my sons past 2 birthdays and they have never ceased to impress me.
Ok, I travel a lot and have been to dozens id DQ. This place, they handle your food with bare hands. A counter girl wiped her mouth then handled peoples money and food. Then I saw into the back, taking precooked and heating in a microwave. We couldn't do it, we were in line but after watching the wipe mouth handle food thing, we walked out. All children but one older lady. She was too busy telling someone in the back hw awesome she was to pay attention to what was going on around her. Need a burger? Good luck in this town.
I was in there for lunch with the family. Slow is an under statement. The older lady who is a supervisor has no business being a supervisor. She was making burgers in the back and she was slow as molasses in January. She had 3 employees making ice cream treats while there is a long line up and 15 to 20 minute wait times for fast food. I would not recommend coming here during busy times. Other than that there food is good.
The food is good, however don't expect to be in and out of the building like you are in other fast food places. I have waited at least 10 minutes or longer to get what I ordered, and by the time the cooked food is done my ice cream products are pretty much expensive soup. At least the kids working behind the counter are friendly!
DQ is famous for ice cream cake and blizzards. More than either of those I love the ultimate burger that they make. This DQ doesn't have a drive through but I hope they do one day soon as they'd do so much better than they do now. The service is good and the food is consistent as I've stated in past visits reviews.
Not much to say here it's still the same old Dairy Queen. Would love to see them re brand them selves and do something about there quality. Just had a blizzard, it really feels like DQ is going DH (Down Hill)Good blizzard but try harder DQ it's not all about profits it's about making a quality product.
Well done to the staff. Unbelivable great banana split with all the fixings. As a connosieur of icecream, and often visiting DQ, this by far was the best ever. Wish all the other DQ's coud follow suit and lern from this establishment on how best to satisfy their customers.
