From the moment you walk in, every aspect of this cafe comes to welcome you with a hug. From the cosy fireplace, to the beautiful china and the vintage music, you feel transported to a different place entirely even the cutlery is beautiful! I had poached eggs on toast both of which were cooked perfectly and took some cake home which was a lovely treat after work. I'd like to come back and just sit for a while, soaking in the ambience of this gem of a cafe.

The staff are very friendly at this restaurant. We ordered the tea set for two which cost £26. It included 4 mini scones, 2 full sandwiches, and 6 small cakes. It would have been cheaper to order each item separately. The ham in the sandwiches was not as good as advertised on the menu, it tasted like the cheap supermarket kind. The bread also seemed to be just from Aldi. I would not recommend this place.

We held my Mum's 80th birthday at Dressers Tea room and what a wonderful time we had. We had afternoon tea for our family of 14. We were spoilt with beautiful cakes, sandwiches and fresh cream scones. The staff were welcoming and really looked after us and had also put out birthday decorations for us. Thank you to all at the tea rooms for making a special afternoon for my mum.

Dressers Tea Room is a delightful retreat for those who love tea. The atmosphere is filled with charming English character, and the delicious selection of fruit scones and tempting cakes, along with fragrant Yorkshire tea, makes for a memorable visit. I highly recommend this place for a perfect mix of sophistication and enjoyment! Five stars! Reserva una mesa ahora

Janet and Rachel kindly allowed us to hold the wake for my father's funeral at Dressers. I can't offer enough thanks for how accommodating and supportive they were in going above and beyond and making everyone feel welcome . The quality of the food was superb. I would recommend Dressers to everyone. A gem of a place. G+C.

We booked here for our first family get together for a few years. It was lovely and we were well looked after. Plenty of tea coffee and juices. The food was presented on cake trays and there really was plenty sandwiches, cake and scones all on offer and all lovely. Would definitely return and recommend this to others.

A very pleasant break in surroundings last visited by me 60(sixty) years ago. The Museum has lost some of its authenticity but the Cafe retains the original charm of the place. Would recommend a call on visiting the Museum or just for a general snack or a meal in a yesteryear friendly ambiance.
