As already said by other reviewers... The staff knows there is little chance we come back... therefore, they don't seem to care about a good service'... Although the new waitress made big efforts to make our dinner an enjoyable moment, she was struggling with the.. old waitress' orders... Actually, I believe you won't even have a chance to meet the new waitress'... she probably won't stay very long... Otherwise, the place is fantastic... the hotel is OK, despite rooms (and especially bathrooms) deserving a little refurbish investment...
There are very limit options for a meal through the Canyon and we were attracted to this restaurant for the views which are magnificent. Well, that's the good part. Our salad nicoise and terrine were very average. The service was barely adequate, almost as if...the staff know that you are not likely to be passing through again and there are few other options for a meal. Go for the view but dont expect good food and service.
We parked at the Étroit des Cavaliers view and drove to the cafe at the back of the restaurant. When we came up there were three wild boars around the garden. We had decent coffees and admired the amazing view, but be prepared for grumpy...service if that's all you order! We saw people like ants on the other side of the gorge doing the 6 hour walk. Exhausted just looking but she seemed to be having fun.
Nobody is going to fool anybody here, if you come to this place it's for the view, sitting at a cliff that takes you 300m almost straight down. Staff is friendly, food is above average, drinks as well. It's nothing outstanding or high class, but...it's not a tourist trap either. Recommended.

The service was very good by an old woman. The food was delicious and fresh. The restaurant has a glorious view to the canyon and mountains. So it is really nice to have lunch there even if your table is not on the corner of...the balcony. We liked it very much.
The meal plat du jour was not special, very standard: chicken with bone, french fries and some salad. The view however was magnificent! The dessert was excellent and the service too. For sure a good place for lunch with a view!
Had lunch here rather than right by the gorge. Was a better choice, staff was friendly, food was good and the view is great. On the way to the gorge this is the best restaurant I think.
The food was just eatable but I believe that the location is so special that it deserves a visit. I would go back for sure, but most likely just for a drink or a salat.

I was staying at the hotel, which is in a very rural location, with my wife and so we dined at home The food was very well prepared and service was excellent.
