What a wonderfully welcoming, family-friendly, and well-maintained family-owned establishment! My wife and I were looking for a safe place to store our infant son’s stroller since the restaurant was crowded due to the winter carnival, making it difficult to navigate through the crowd. That’s when a kind gentleman, who we later discovered is the owner of Duffy's Tavern, offered to keep our stroller in his souvenir shop connected to the tavern. I had a pretty good Reuben sandwich. My boyfriend enjoyed the nachos, and my uncle seemed to like his burger and fries. Our waitress was very nice. My only complaint is that we had finished eating for a while, and she didn't come by to check on us or bring the check. We eventually had to ask for it, and even then, we waited a bit longer to receive it. It was somewhat busy around 6 PM, so maybe she was just overwhelmed. Overall, we had a nice view of the lake with boats passing by, decent food, reasonable prices, and no wait to get a table.
We spent our evening enjoying live music from the talented musician John Eisenhart at Duffy's Tavern in Lake George Village, and we had an amazing time! John really brought everyone together with his beautiful music, humor, and engaging conversations with the audience. We were also pleasantly surprised to learn about his deep appreciation for Ukrainian culture and history. Thank you, John, for a wonderful evening!
We visited over the weekend of February 18-20 during the Lake George Winter Carnival and had a great time surrounded by fellow winter enthusiasts! Fortunately, we didn't have to wait long for a table for two, despite the restaurant being quite busy. Our waitress was very kind, and she made sure to get our order out to us as quickly as possible. Skye was absolutely fantastic! She was incredibly helpful. The food was delicious, and the bay breeze cocktail was, without a doubt, the best I've ever had. You won't be disappointed!
This pub has three levels and offers ample parking. The food is delicious, and there's convenient access to Lake George. The servers are friendly and welcoming.
