Went for dinner and the food was delicious! We got the veggie combo and the Ethiopian foul. The spicy foul was technically from the breakfast menu but they let us order it. It was probably our favorite dish. The owners were very nice and welcoming. It’s not a posh dinner spot but definitely has some hole-in-the-wall charm. There was a TV playing Ethiopian music videos. It’s mostly a small market with Ethiopian staples- lots of grains, flours, and spices. They have bags of locally milled, organic Fairhaven flour. The seating is just a small area off the the side. The door was open the whole the time we were inside so it was a little chilly. There was a small family there for part of the time,...

Don't let the atmosphere dissuade you. I almost did, and that would have been a HUGE mistake. The restaurant section is inside the market on the far right. It's a modest, but clean space. The food though is anything but modest. The dishes, while being wholly new to me, felt like comfort food. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the lamb tibs and a mix of vegetarian selections, all served on delightfully sour, Ethiopian bread. The thing I recommend most though, is the Ethiopian coffee. That was, hands down, the most fantastic coffee experience I've had. Strong, with no bitterness, and an intense clove taste. The service was impeccable, friendly, and helpful.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! I often come here to grab lunch to go, especially for their delicious sambusas. The food is fantastic, portions are generous, and the sambusas are filled with flavorful ingredients like beans, ginger, and spices, all at a reasonable price. What sets this place apart is the friendly and welcoming staff - no matter who is behind the counter, they are always kind and accommodating. I once had a time crunch and they made sure to expedite my order. Overall, great people and great food here!

The food is a hard five stars. Really, really tasty stuff here, prepared with heart. And get the coffee, it doesn't get any better than this! Service was polite and friendly and understood our purpose of experiencing Ethiopian cuisine to make food recommendations for different flavors. All smiles. It's a few tables in a market, not at all fancy. So glad to be here, and really... Get. The. Coffee. Reserva una mesa ahora

Excellent! A friend took me here, and I was really impressed by the great flavors, and the best injera I’ve ever had. But of a wait and since there’s not AC you might consider take out, but it was worth it in every sense. Medium spicy was very reasonable. The lamb was my favorite, but definitely get it in a combo!

This restaurant offers great value for your money. It's difficult to find affordable places to eat in Seattle, but this spot provides ample portions that can easily feed four hungry people. We ordered the veggie combo for $19 and the lamb for $24, and both dishes were absolutely delicious.

Some of the best Ethiopian I've had. My sample size isn't huge but the veggie plate was very good. The restaurant shares space with a small market for Ethiopian goods so its not your traditional restaurant setting but food is solid and very close to airport. Super cool and friendly owner.

I ordered the meat and veggie plate and the food was delicious. It was my first time trying Ethiopian cuisine. However, the service was lacking. It took a long time for my order to arrive and the staff seemed disorganized. The prices were fair and the portions were generous. Reserva una mesa ahora

Their spicy beef red tibs are the best I’ve ever had! Truly nowhere else compares. Every time I’m in there, they treat me with so much respect and are incredibly kind!
