I really hate to leave a bad review; it makes me sound like a troll. but if I still leave a restaurant hungry, I get a little hang. last Saturday evening I was served a shockingly overpriced dinner at grape d’vine in sparkill, where minuscule parts were served by a haughty overlord with a silly contempt, after which we went home and made peanut butter sandwiches because we had hunger. it costs us $200 (no tipp included) for three people. a main course risotto in the $40 series was literally a one-copper, like a tiny laboratory sample for calorie research, in which a huge white plate crocheted. the only good things were accidental vire security (the place was almost empty on Saturday night),...
I have visited this restaurant many times, particularly in the summer with my partner and friends. I've spent a lot of money here, so it's disappointing that I won't be able to continue due to their new policy requiring proof of vaccination. I was there when COVID-19 was at its worst and no vaccination proof was required, so it seems like the owner is only implementing this rule now out of control. Despite their claims about keeping employees safe, we've often seen them without masks. It's a shame to see this side of the owner.
If you're looking to try a new restaurant, why not visit Sparkill in New York City? On Mondays and Tuesdays, they offer a pub menu with generous portions, delicious drinks, and high-quality wines. The striped sea bass served over beurre blanc sauce and rare white grilled asparagus made for a perfect evening. The special drink of the day was the Passion Plan, an extended version of their traditional paper plan, made with fresh ingredients to ensure a warm welcome for all guests.
We sat at the bar and enjoyed delicious cocktails. We decided to share an order of mushroom tempura and a large burrito, both of which were tasty and fresh. The portions were more than enough for two people, and the bartender kindly advised us to wait before ordering more, as the portions were already quite generous. He was right, and we ended up not needing any additional food. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience.

We've been going here for years and it just keeps getting better. Very happy to see vaccine requirements posted online and at the door. The newish tasting menu is innovative as we have come to expect and just as delicious as always. Previously the best meal I've ever had was in Tokyo 15 years ago. Tonight blew that meal away. Thank you Chef Chris and his wonderful staff.
DVine Bar is one of my favorite spots to eat in the area. We live locally and love the food here. They change their menu seasonally and offer a fresh take and twist on traditional fare. The food is delicious and the ambiance is cute. You will not be disappointed check it out!
This place is a gem. The food and the menu was intriguing and different. But very comforting and basic at the same time.The bartender was fantastic as he was the only one serving the whole bar and restaurant making some very awesome and flavorful cocktails.
Vaccines don't stop the transmission of the virus- this has been clear the past few weeks and yet, you decide just now to force vaccine cards???. Unfortunate, I can no longer eat here. Good luck staying open

This was the first tasting menu we’ve had in a long time. The food was delicious, and their wine selection was exceptional. Not your everyday dinner, but perfect for a special occasion.
Loved the atmosphere. The food is delicious. The hosts were great. What can you ask for more?
