My husband and I dined at Sparkill Steakhouse this evening to celebrate our wedding anniversary. My husband and I have dined here many times prior and have always had a delicious meal with excellent service. However, tonight was very disappointing. When we arrived, the restaurant was not busy. We placed our order in a timely manner. While we were eating our main course, no waiter came over to ask how everything was or to offer us another drink. As our meal drew to a close, no one approached to see if we wanted to look at the dessert menu, even though several waitstaff walked past us without acknowledging our table. After nearly 20 minutes, I finally had to ask for the dessert menu myself.

This is my wife's and my date night special occasion destination. Food is phenomenal. Personally, I rate it better than a Ruth's Chris. Bone in ribeye or lamb are my favorites, and my wife's go to's are filet and lobster. All the sides are great. Staff is super fun and friendly NOT a stuffy, steakhouse vibe. Can't wait for the next occasion to come here! Parking: Huge parking lot. No valet needed. Kid friendliness: We actually brought our kids here once for a 70th birthday and the staff was wonderful. I thought it was a bad idea before bringing them, but it honestly went fine and staff accommodated us amazingly.
