Earls Kitchen + Bar - King Street

I made a 7:30pm Friday reservation for 2 at Earl’s. It was made online and indoor standard seating (not high top was requested. We arrived 15 minutes early and were told to wait to be seated. We watched as others arriving after us were seated....I assumed they were being seated in high top seating, so we waited patiently. After half-an-hour, I approached the hostess. Without making eye contact or apologizing for the wait, she directed someone to seat us. While being walked to our table, I noticed that many indoor tables were available. I ordered take out many times at Earls on King Street, Toronto and always order would be missing something while you are charged upfront. Not answering calls and if you get lucky to get through after several days of calling many times a day, they...take your info, tell you manager will call and then never ever calls. Very -very-very disappointing as this is not the first time it happens. Most disappointing is that you are charged for items not included. This is unbelievable. Might be okay for sit down but not for take out sadly.

Eating out has been a treat lately but if you haven’t been to Earl’s restaurant you are missing out. Service was fantastic!!! The crab cakes are new and they are to die for home made with lots of fresh crab and veggies so so...good. The accompanying salad was also so good. Crunchy fresh with subtle lemon highlights. We also had the salmon on a bed of warm fluffy rice the salmon done to perfection. A great place to eat don’t miss out

I don't know where to start with the details. Let's just skip that and get to the heart of the matter. Everyone in this place seems miserable and hates their job- and it shows in the food, cleanliness and decor. Just don't.
