The sushi is exceptionally fresh, and the menu is extensive, offering a wide range of options including soups, appetizers, salads, and a variety of sushi, sashimi, and specialty rolls. They also have dishes like teriyaki, donburi, noodles, tempura katsu, bento boxes, lunch specials, udon, and hibachi entrees. So far, we’ve tried the rainbow rolls, salmon avocado, sweet heart roll, sumo roll, and California roll, and there’s truly something for everyone here.

East Hana is a tried-and-true East Brunswick sushi joint. While this might not be the sushi spot that's going to knock your socks off or have you raving about it to your friends, what East Hana offers is extremely reasonable pricing and consistently decent quality sushi. For those who lived and grew up in the East Brunswick area, this is the same company that was operating out of the old Hong Kong Supermarket for ages. They've upgraded their venue as well as their offerings. I highly recommend giving them a try if you're looking for a quick sushi fix without breaking the bank.
This is the worst sushi restaurant I’ve ever visited. While the service was excellent, the food was utterly disgusting. I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but this experience was completely unacceptable. If you’re considering trying a new sushi place, do yourself a favor and skip this one. I really don’t understand how they have 5-star reviews. This isn’t my first visit; I’ve given them several chances to improve, and I’ve been let down every time.

The food didn't taste fresh and had an unusual flavor overall. There was also a lack of wasabi and soy sauce. We definitely won't be ordering from here again.
