"We went there as a group. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, both from the conveyor belt and from the kitchen. It was amazingly inexpensive, too! It was the first time I had plum wine. It was sweet, but not overly so, and I enjoyed the plum itself, as well."

It is a decent neighborhood sushi restaurant that generally serves low price sushi item in a fast food style 80s novelty conveyor belt system. I don't know that for a fact, but they don't seem to store their fish every day, so they have weekly specialties that squeeze salmon every Wednesday, for example. This means that depending on which day of the week you go, you will find sushi fresher than other days. Depending on what I see, I would sometimes go for more vegetables or shellfish sushi or even go for cooked items. Another factor affecting food quality is how long the piece of fish sits on the belt. Good thing is, they throw out the fish after a certain time, but you could ignorantly find...

East Japanese Restaurant is a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. They also have other Japanese foods, but I haven't tried yet. The concept of the Sushi conveyor belt is that small portions of different sushi species sprinkle around the conveyor belt, where you can grasp what you want. The plates are encoded at the price. It is a fun concept and you can try out different types of sushi that are the most important stimuli of the type of restaurant. I would say the actual sushi is not the greatest, but it is good and you get a good variety. They serve alcohol which is cheap. The service is good and attentive. Tea cups are filled in a regular interval and the servers are very nice. Overall, East Ja...

This is the only place I know in New Jersey that features a formal conveyor belt sushi experience. I'm quite pleased with the sushi they provide—it's fresh and flavorful. As for the prices, I find them reasonable considering the quality. The service is good, and the fish is always high-quality and fresh. I’m definitely planning to return for more!

As I've mentioned in previous discussions about this restaurant, it's a carousel-style, assembly-line chain. While the quality of the sushi isn't the highest, it compensates with freshness and a wide variety of options, including seasonal dishes and daily specials. I've been a loyal customer for over 25 years.
