Stopped for a drink and some snacks after a Neptune show recently. It was a busy Saturday night but we were offered a table for two but also told that in an hour the table would be needed for a reservation. Fine enough - we could eat and drink quickly. The service was a bit chaotic and slow - there was some confusion about who our wait staff was to be so we were left sitting for quite some time without anyone coming by to take a drink order or to discuss food options. After flagging down the hostess, our waitress was sent over and was very apologetic and took our orders. We recently had lunch at East of Grafton. The decor was a very attractive, but quirky blend of, well, everything. We had our choice of seats as there was only one other couple in the restaurant. We started with an order of hot wings. Ten small wings, but the best we had tasted in a long time. We both ordered House Ground Burgers (one with a double patty). We complimented the food with a glass of wine and a glass of beer. The burgers were served with a side of home-cut frites. The burgers were excellent. Tasty and done perfectly to our order. The service and overall style at this restaurant were amazing. They made my daughter's birthday a fun adventure by giving her a cake with candles. The service was exceptional and the recommendations were excellent. The beer sampler was reasonably priced, offering three craft beers for the price of one elsewhere. The food was delicious and served with great attention to detail and pride. This is the best dining option on the block. Additionally, when my daughter left her $100 sweatshirt in a bag we had just purchased, they kept it safe until we returned to claim it. Overall, they provided a fantastic experience and were honest.

This restaurant is a great spot to enjoy half-priced nachos and pub snacks from 4-6. The nachos, priced at $9.50, were deliciously layered with peppers, artichoke pieces, and pickled onion. They had the perfect ratio of cheese to chip, and the amount of dip (sour cream, refried beans, fresh salsa) was just right. The three chicken sliders, priced at $8, were tasty but not very filling. We travelled to Nova Scotia for a family vacay with another couple and all of our teenage kiddos....we checked out this restaurant because of it's name! We all absolutely LOVED the super cool décor, the atmosphere, the drinks, and the munchies/food we all ordered... everything was super delicious!!! We also had a really knowledgeable and friendly waitress, which ALWAYS adds to, and can make, the experience. Thank you for a wonderful dinner out!!!!

East of Grafton is amazing. The menu is diverse to suit all tastes. The food is superbly prepared and the service we experienced was beyond comparison. Our server Alex was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. It is on Argyle St., which was in the midst of construction when we visited....don't pass it by.

One of the new chic restaurant spaces in Happening Halifax. Loved the savvy design. Bar staff very friendly and helpful. Interesting menu somewhat different and creative. Polenta fries very nice and unusual. Liked the local wine Lucketts and the beer Black Angus on HH. Good job chaps

Had a snack of wine and chicken tacos one afternoon and a brunch of eggs benedict made with soft poached eggs on shrimp cakes covered with a spicy hollandaise sauce. All really delicious. Service was excellent and craft beer selection good as well. The decor is really nice. Reserva una mesa ahora

Dropped in there with a couple friends to check it out . Nicely decorated , they do have a happy hour . The food is good , but a little pricey . Not bad , but I would not go out of my way to get there.

Been here twice. Menu is unique and food is excellent. Very cool decor. Great service too. Will be back!
