This place stands out for its cleanliness, and the staff were attentive. Our food arrived promptly, hot, and fresh. We ordered the House Chow Mein, which was packed with flavor and included large shrimp. The Garlic Chicken was served in a silky sauce that had a perfect flavor. The General Tso Chicken also featured a silky, spicy sauce that left us wanting more.
The Pork Fried Rice was clean and flavorful, with a perfect balance of texture—definitely not greasy. It had a unique twist with the addition of bean sprouts, which was an excellent touch. My friend described the Hot & Sour Soup as the best he's ever had. The Won Ton Soup was rich in flavor, and the Egg Roll was fantastic on its own...
This is, without a doubt, the best Chinese food I’ve ever tasted! Every dish was packed with flavor, which is often missing in many Chinese restaurants. The service was quick, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The prices are quite reasonable as well. I highly recommend the Salt and Pepper Calamari, General Chicken, Pork Fried Rice, and Chicken Chow Fun. Everything was amazing!
I had the house soup! Large amount full of seafood and super good! Egg rolls were crispy and hot, two thumbs up! Then I had house fried rice. Large portions and delicious! I would highly recommend! We are truck drivers passing through and have book marked this place for next time we are in the area.
Great service great food East Side Chef is my new go to spot here in West Sacramento for the best Chinese food in the whole Sacramento area and beyond.. The place is a must try i highly recommend the Teriyaki chicken to everyone even if your not a fan of Chinese food you will become one ..

The egg rolls are so good, almost a meal by themselves. Great food, great prices, awesome portions. Only wish they had more vegetarian options (maybe tofu substitutes for any of the meat dishes?
They don't have sweet and sour pork on the list on here. It was awesome, hands down the best. It was bomb all the way around. Thank you Eastside Chief.
