Tonight was the 1st time my buddy and I tried this place.My buddy and I try to hit new restaurants each weekend when possible.We have probably tried 25 Chinese restaurants and my finding have been only 1 is consistently good that is Shanghai Garden Downtown. If you want really tasteful Chinese food, don’t go here. If you just want some food to eat, stop in and have a seat or get it to go. This place at best is a 3 out of 10. The food is bland and the portions are average. For me, there’s almost no taste. The sauce is just as blah and I have to use a hunch or soy sauce to get taste, which leaves my food not tasting like what’s cooked. I probably will eat here again because it’s one of the few places near to eat for lunch hours. I wouldn’t recommend at all. It’s not nasty, it’s just not good at all. I asked for sweet and sour pork and they gave me chicken ? A huge disappointment when you really didn’t want to eat there.
Best Chinese food I’ve literally ever had! All of the food had lots of flavor, which a lot of Chinese restaurants lack. Fast service and the employees are really nice. Prices are very reasonable. I recommend: Salt Pepper Calamari, General Chicken, Pork Fried Rice, Chicken Chow Fun. So bomb ?
I really enjoy going there; my friend and I always meet for lunch! The staff is very friendly, and the food is excellent!
