Additionally, I wasn't thrilled with the Italian food, especially since we had some fruit flies (three of them) at our table. The flavors of the dishes were typical for a chain restaurant. I was surprised that the lasagna contained a chopped-up meatball (possibly half of one?), and it was served with a side of red sauce, the purpose of which I couldn't quite understand. The lasagna was presented in a skillet that had a well-used, tattered little oven mitt on the handle. The salads were a bit lacking in dressing, although they did come with free refills, even with the ongoing lettuce shortage.
On a positive note, the company was wonderful!
I had been feeling a bit worn out from dining on Asian cuisine—Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese—so I opted for Italian food this time. We went to East Side Mario's in Stouffville, and I have to say, I was not disappointed. We both ordered the Chicken Parmesan, which came with two generous pieces of breaded chicken breast topped with sauce and cheese. The dish also included a substantial portion of spaghetti with tomato sauce, along with the choice of soup or salad and unlimited freshly baked bread. I went with a tossed salad while my brother chose the Italian wedding soup. It was a fantastic meal!
We dined at this restaurant following our daughter's volleyball tournament. I had made reservations, but I needed to call to adjust the number of guests. I also had to reach out again to change the time of our reservation, and each time, the staff was incredibly accommodating. The service was exceptional, and I even found myself complimenting the manager. Recently, I've experienced poor service at different restaurants, but that was not at all the case here. We were very satisfied with our experience and would definitely return to dine here again.
I had another wonderful experience at this restaurant, enjoying delicious food, generous portions, and attentive service. However, I feel the host could have done a better job by seating a group of six at a table right next to ours when there were other tables further away available. The staff should be more mindful of social distancing between tables.

The busboy, Chris, was exceptional. Our waitress, Andreena, was the best I’ve ever had. I truly wish I could give this place 10 stars! The club wrap was fantastic.
I truly love this restaurant! The bread is amazing, and the service is outstanding. Andreena and Chris were especially wonderful; they were incredibly friendly!
I believe the portion sizes have decreased significantly. Make sure to fill up on salad! The service is decent, but it could definitely be better.
