I’ve eaten here probably 5 or 6 times dining in. The food is always good but I had always been disappointed with portions and ratios. Like not enough hummus to eat the flatbread, etc. However we just got takeout during the coronavirus lockdown and the portions were gigantic! We had more hummus and flatbread than we knew what to do with There are not a lot of vegan options. Even the falafel has egg in it. But, this is Iowa so obviously we aren’t expecting Cafe Gratitude. The options available are delicious. Basically you’ve got pizza (choose your own toppings, vegan “cheese” is available if you’re into that sort of thing), salads, hummus, and pickled vegetables, all of which are fantastic. Th...

Cannot say enough good things about this place. Walked in to LCD Soundsystem bumping through the speakers which was excellent. We went during happy hour so half price drink specials! We ordered a LOT of food and it was all outstanding. We over ordered for sure but it wasn’t even expensive! Shocked considering the level of quality and detail. I got two shareable plates and a wine for $20!? A great deal. Will absolutely go here again very soon.

Great local spot in the neighborhood. Popped during right before dinner and my party was seated immediately. The atmosphere was very casual and cozy. I got brussel sprouts, pizza, a coffee, and a shareable dessert. The food was really good and portions were filling. I really enjoyed this place! This restaurant has a lot of parking and is walkable to the neighborhood close by. I ended up paying about $30, with tip, for all of my dishes.

(Vegetarian review Eatery A is a surprise modern looking restaurant. Great choices for cocktails and wines. Wonderful menu that aims at giving good choices across all dish types (sides, appetizers, skewers, pizzas etc. One of the best pizzas I had in Des Moines. The potato and sweet potato sides were fantastic. You can skip the veggie skewer as it lacks dressing. Overall, excellent experience. Totally recommend.

Service needs to have more customer service skills, be more attentive and at least fake that they are happy to greet and/or help customers. It took like 5 mins for someone to come say hi and other bunch of time to waitress to come to the table. Besides that pizzas were delicious and drinks that we had were very good too. Ill recommend it just for the food. Hopefully service improves :

Had dinner for the first time here with a friend in celebration of Galentines day. We definitely would go back and next time we would probably just split some appetizers. Great food and great atmosphere.

We were there at the busiest time of day, and yet we had great food and some very good wine. I have dined here probably 6 times and each time the food was something I would gladly order again.

We were seated 30 minutes after our OpenTable reservation. It was very busy, but we felt the OpenTable reservation did nothing for us. Food/drinks/table service are all great.

We go often. This was the first time our food was overcooked. The Gyro pizza is a favorite, they changed how it is prepared and it is not as good.
