We were only in town for a few days and ordering Indian food from an unknown place can be tricky. We looked at the good reviews and gave them a try. We ordered for delivery because we were still tired from travel. They took the time to call back and point out how close we were to their location to try and spare us the $5. delivery. We took them up on it with thanks and picked up the order. We love butter chicken and have a local favourite place so we thought we'd try their version. We got takeout from Everest, a restaurant I have wanted to try for years but have not gotten around to doing so. Not getting to Everest earlier was a mistake. The servings were generous; we had leftovers today and they were just as good as the first time. There are good vegetarian options. My son-in-law and I are the only two in the extended family who eat lamb. The lamb dansak was both delicious and spicy.
Had a recommendation from a S.E. Asian friend saying that this restaurant was an excellent example of the cuisine from that area. The menu was extensive with excellent descriptions of the food so that you could order very easily and staff was very accommodating to explain or offer to adjust the spices for us. It was an overall excellent experience and the mango beer a real hit.
Went here on the recommendation of a work colleague and he was right! I had an off menu chicken item and it was cooked perfectly. The chicken was moist and tender and spiced just right. I also have to echo some of the other reviewers in saying that the naan bread is the best ive ever had. Decor isnt the best, but the food more than makes up for the appearance. Reserva una mesa ahora
I really wish this restaurant was in Hamilton. I would frequent her quite often. The staff are very cheerful and assist with patience. The food is the best I've had and it's not overpriced. It's a "Gotta Eat Here" moment!! I will be returning many times in the future. Thank you to all staff and owner.
