I ate multiple meals at the Symposium Café Restaurant & Lounge over the course of a weekend stay at the attached Comfort Inn.The food was incredible and the price was right. I had 2 dinners and 1 breakfast and was extremely satisfied with all meals. The food was well cooked, hot when it arrived and very tasty.The staff were very friendly and did a great job catering to our banquet held there. I was also impressed to see the manager eating there at the end of the night.The aesthetic of the restaurant was very nice, although I was less then impressed with the washroom. It was clean but felt very dated and like it didn't belong with the rest of the nice restaurant ambiance.
This beautiful spot is attached to the Comfort Inn, just off the 403. Staff were friendly and attentive. I ordered eggs and peameal bacon ..the plate arrived looking like a chef had prepared it.. Amazing presentation.. Eggs were perfectly prepared as per my order, the bacon was trimmed and moist. Coffee was quite good and served in a large mug, the way it should be in my opinion. Price was a bit high, but considering the quality of the food, well worth it. I will definitely be back when in Brantford..
I think because this restaurant is attached to a hotel that people give it a miss...but you shouldn't. .from the decor and ambience to the wait staff to the food...it's a delight and they have daily specials and Sundays. ..oh Sundays. ..they have 2 for 1 cakes...you should see their cakes...leave room or have it as a starter or take it home for later. ..so so good and very generous servings. The burgers are amazing as are the wraps and the flatbed. .mmm
Came here tonight before a show. Our server was awesome. Recommended wine to match our meal. We had the date night special for $48. Included an app to share. Numerous choices for a meal and a huge dessert coffee or tea. I chose the filet which was cooked perfectly. And my husband had the fish. It was delicious! The freshly grilled vegetables that accompanied our meal better than the average frozen beans you usually get! We will be back.

The waitress is uninterested in waiting tables. We are here now and are ignored for the past 40+ min after ordering. We wont be back and thats a bit sad because the atmosphere is nice. We had to ask for a kids menu for our 6 yr old as she only gave us him a full menu and then we had to send our child fir the crayons because she didnt bother to bring any of those to go with the kids menu.
We went for a breakfast and we weren't disappointed. Great service and food choices. It was a higher end restaurant and the prices reflected this. I would recommend the Symposium as a good breakfast experience.
Great food and dessert. Gabby was so nice. Will go back for the crape again and again. The daily special was hamburgers or chicken burgers. It was hard to believe what a good deal they were. Great value!
Great food, great atmosphere, excellent café mocha, however it was like sitting in the refrigerator.
