I had thought the Panorama restaurant would be rather expensive and a little too 'posh' for me. How wrong I was. Although not the cheapest place to eat it was not expensive, the staff made you feel welcome and comfortable (looked after without being interfering) and the views simply stunning.Then came the food, the chef I believe is Stefan Hetteger. No idea where he trained but boy oh boy does he know what he is doing. Tomato and Orange soup with gin foam; Guinea Fowl on a bed of spring cabbage with cord and pop corn and apfel strudel to finish. All incredibly cooked and the sauce with the guinea fowl was the most intensely flavoured sauce I have ever tasted. Just fabulous - if in Berchtesga...
Checked out Panorama because of the view. It is amazing anywhere on the terrace but our the table was farthest to the right-side which gave us a completely unobstructed view of the valley... which we loved! That said, the food and service was absolutely top notch! We came for lunch and found lots of choices on the menu but really enjoyed the local fish from Konigsee Lake and a special pasta dish. The apple strudel with vanilla sauce was delicious as well. Have to mention that we were so impressed with the meal, we came back for dinner. This restaurant has its act together and you will not be disappointed.
the evening meal was here during a stay at the nearby hotel bavaria. Although the intention during the day or the dawn would be so much better, we were very happy with the provided ambiente. eating was fantastic and cheap. a rather big wine...Menu along with a good selection of “house” weep. service was very friendly and attentive, without over camp. we are coming back to the final!
We had an enjoyable late lunch here after visiting the nearby Eagle's Nest historic site. The food was good, and the views were spectacular, even on a cloudy day. Parking was convenient right under the building, with an elevator from the garage levels. We saw a large local family group having a first communion celebration lunch at a nearby table.

it is located on the 6th floor of the noble white hotel in the middle of the historic city center. the food was well prepared and in reasonable quantities. they enjoy the calfsalat and the bark cheek. the fried chicken was also good. service was attentive and prompt.
Stopped in here for lunch prior to our trip to The Eagles Nest and Hitlers buyers up top. What a nice lunch and great views. the service was decent but certainly not fast and they were not that busy but we had plenty of time to kill so no problem.
Great view of the surrounding area. The food is a bit over-priced, but the quality matches. There is an underground public parking area in the square in front of the hotel that is a convenient place to park.
We had an evening drink here. The service and drinks were excellent and the veiws are breathtaking. Well worth a vist. Although we did not eat, the diners appeared to be well-pleased.

My wife and I really enjoyed this very friendly eating establishment. The food was good and the staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was very hospitable and very pleasant.
eating was excellent, like the service. at the upper end of the middle price but it is worth. reserve a table in advance if you want to appreciate it.
