The most beautiful beach - nothing to say about that but so much to say about the restaurant itself.I am a very regular client, I go there every year and I must say this year for the first time I was terribly disappointed. Over the years, the prices have gone up enormously- the food is not great, do not take the octopus salad, it wasn't fresh at all. We had to wait a long time for the food to be served. Me and my girlfriend visited this restaurant today, one of two restaurants in a small picturesque bay not too far from the train station in Cap d'Ail. We ordered two standard dishes; a pizza and a burger. (Should be hard to mess up..?)The pizza looked and tasted like a dry warm flatbread with some decently fresh ingredients on top. (15€)The burger tasted weird, with not so fresh lettuce in it and a dry bun. (To the price of 23€!!)The staff was nice, and the view spectacular - the reason why the restaurant didn't get 1 out of 5. Me and my girlfriend will surely go back to this cozy bay, but next time, we will pick the other restaurant.
Others seem to have complained about the food here. We had no such problems: it was well prepared and came in generous portions. The service was friendly and attentive. Yes the prices are relatively expensive but no more outrageous than anywhere else around here and they don't have the problems of access that this beach has.
The restaurant is nicely located with sun the whole day and accessible from both sea and land. Service is good and with a nice variety on the menu. However, if you choose the catch of the day be aware that it is very prizy - close to 400 Euros for 4 plates of catch of the day!

Service is good. Directly on the beach. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Prices too high without reason. You can't pay 26 euros for a linguine vongole.Food is not bad but nothing special. You go there because there are only 2 places on the beach.
The prices are a little high for what the restaurant has to offer, but it makes up for it with the nice view. The food is ok, nothing to special. During our vacation we ate here once, but we didn't return for a second time.
Wonderful moments spent with friends and family on a beautiful secluded beach where you can spend the whole afternoon drinking cocktails, having very good food and wine and relaxing in the sunshine. A unique experience !
Verry expensive . poor dining experience. 25 euros for a pizza the lest you could do is get a real pizzaiolo do do it. Completely overpriced for what you are getting.

Beach spot for chilling and eating. Pricy but worth it for once. Would not be my style generally but an experience. Food is good but overpriced despite the location.
This is a truly magical joint to spend time with friends and family in the exclusive Cap d'Ail environment. Great food and great service.
