Restaurant Only: We didn 't stay at the lodge. #TLDR: The best dining experience I 've had anywhere. A week later, my wife and I are still talking about it. We even ate at a AA 3 Rosette restaurant with a similar tasting menu the following evening. Everything they prepared for us was excellent, but none of it as good as what we had at Edinbane Lodge. Review for the restaurant only. Lovely to find a tasting menu in the highlands with all local ingredients. Decently priced from the perspective of NYC tasting menus. Straight down the middle with the courses, everything was good kind of what’d you expect. Nothing crazy wild/innovative, they played it safe. The wine pairing was also solid no complaints. It was a good experience to find a delicate menu after eating all the piles of delicious seafood! Staff was super friendly as well. The only downside is the coffee. After scanning through the amazing menu, I was disappointed to see that they only offer Nespresso. Personally, I find pod coffee to be unacceptable when there are so many local roasters and high-quality beans available. The challenge lies in properly training the staff to extract it. Everything else about the restaurant is wonderful though! The staff is excellent, the small bites dinner with wine pairing was fun, and the room was great just like other reviews mentioned. The breakfast seating area could use some improvement as it lacks coziness, but overall, the restaurant is making an effort to improve.
For the restaurant only. Had the tasting menu for dinner. Every main dish was so perfect. The missing one star is for the desserts. The flavors for all 3 desserts are quite weird. Also, it would be better if the crackers can be less oily. And it would be nice if not followed with fried oysters, as both are fried, and can be too oily.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic and the service is very friendly and accommodating. We had a great experience staying here for two nights and highly recommend it. The rooms were rated 4 out of 5, the service was rated 5 out of 5, and the location was rated 3 out of 5.
