Edo Japan Northills Centre Grill And Sushi

We were in Kamloops in August for a swim meet for 4 days and we wanted to have a healthier option for our son instead of burgers and fries. We tried Edo Japan at this location and, hands down, this one is far better than the locations in the lower mainland. The bento boxes and rice bowls were fresh and hearty. We ended up ordering take out from here all three nights that we were in Kamloops. We didn’t order the sushi so I can’t speak to that but the hot items we ordered were good and a upgrade to typical burgers and fries.

I ordered California rolls via skip the dishes. To start with, they were sloppily made. They were falling apart as I tried to pick them up and had hardly any substance to them. Then I tasted one piece and the rest of the roll went straight into the trash. It was the worst sushi I've had in my life. It wasn't just not good. It tasted downright nasty. I will not be ordering from here again and would advise against anyone else doing so.

I visited this place once I was in Kamloops during my stay. Their food was good, I opted was a dine-in. Their management was pretty good, of course could have been better. There is always room for improvement. The food I got was vegan rice bowl, and they recommended me to get their brown sugar bubble team. I loved it, I highly recommend it if you haven’t tried it at all. Would definitely go here again.

I placed an order via app, it didn't work, they don't answer the phone.... What a joke. He said they were busy... You had a bunch of people waiting and 3 people standing around at the counter. You telling me one of them can't answer the phone? Yeah whatever. I drove all the way from the south end. 15 minutes there to not get food.

Basic grocery store quality sushi—very small rolls with hardly any filling. No tuna on menu at all and a very limited boring menu. We ordered 5 rolls and 2 platters. Most were missing ingredients. One roll’s crispy topping was beyond soggy. Won’t be back.

I love Edo and it was amazing to find one when I moved to Kamloops. The staff were friendly and the service was fast. The food was delicious as always.

Good Ramen, but the California roll sermed old, at least a day in my opinion, was not good. Other than that staff was friendly and place was clean.

The bento boxes are a delight, great value for money, generous servings too, the hot sauce on the sidehot and yummy
