Fui a la Panadería Eduardo Madrid (No es un restaurante) después de escuchar tantos buenos comentarios pero salí con sentimientos encontrados, entiendo que están tratando de traer diferentes panes a Medellín-Envigado, es la primera lugar donde encuentro bagels, kaiser rolls, ciabatta en la ciudad pero el servicio deja mucho que mejorar, el stock se acaba rápido, es pan fresco así que no te sientes a ordenar del menú, revisa lo que hay en los estantes y ordene desde allí. Pedí del menú y faltaban varios artículos, lo que podría ser algo bueno, pero arruinó mi primera experiencia. I went to Eduardo Madrid´s Bakery (It´s not a restaurant) after hearing so many good comments but I came out with mixed feelings, I understand they´re trying to bring different breads to Medellin-Envigado, It´s the first place where I find bagels, kaiser rolls, ciabatta in the city but the service leaves lot to improve, the stock goes out fast, it´s fresh bread so don´t sit and order from the menu, check what´s in the shelves and order from there. I ordered from the menu and several items were gone, which could be a good thing but it ruined my first experience. I'm currently living in Envigado and on the lookout for quality bread. Something that Bogota does far better than Medellin. I stumbled across Eduardo Madrid and chose a sourdough loaf. While the bread was nice I found the price quite outrageous.. 11,000 COP. They did slice it for me which was nice but I probably wouldn't buy it again for such a high price. Although I didn't taste them, the cakes looked lovely!
Excelente pan europeo, pasteles y tortas, y café por encima del promedio. Una de las pocas panaderías en el Valle de Aburrá que vale la pena visitar; a dos cuadras de La Buena Mesa Envigado, se convierte en un lugar imprescindible después del almuerzo o una cena temprana. Pasé más de 5 minutos esperando en la caja hasta que uno de los tres empleados tomara mi orden. Ninguno de ellos lo hizo. De todas formas, les llamé la atención, no fue hasta que vieron que me fui de la tienda que se dieron cuenta de que estaba allí. En resumen, perdieron un cliente.
