It had been a couple of years since my last visit to Edwardo's Pizza, and I vividly remembered their deep-dish pizza, which features incredibly fresh ingredients and a perfectly balanced sauce on top. My experience today was just as fantastic as I remembered! The crust at Edwardo's is more like a cracker than traditional bread, which I really appreciate because it allows the flavors of the toppings to shine and prevents you from getting too full before enjoying the pizza. Our server, Nettie, was outstanding; she made sure every request we had was fulfilled. It turned into a special birthday dinner with my daughter. Overall, it was truly a five-star experience!
Edwardo's is a nice clean establishment that serves a variety of pizzas and pastas, soups. Spotless floors, you can see straight through the kitchen depending on where you're sitting. No mess in there. Music playing through the speakers is just the right volume where you can still hold a conversation with your guest. I'm within walking distance from work so I try to frequent them at least once a month to dangerous on the body if I went more. I would recommend anyone that's in the area to go here for lunch it's not a bad deal $8.95 for the buffet plus a drink. It truly beats those fast food restaurants, $9.00 for a a small burger, fries, and watered down pop.
This review focuses on the pizza itself, which I didn’t order or pay for. My good friend chose to order a classic deep-dish Chicago pizza with spinach—a topping I enjoy. When she brought it back, I could smell the delicious, piping-hot tomato sauce right out of the oven. A slice was placed on my plate; I was the last to be served, but I was the first to take a bite. That piece didn’t last long at all! This time, I made sure to savor every single bite. I hope to try more before I leave.
The spinach and sausage pizza is incredible! I moved to Florida back in '92, but I used to come here every week from '83 to '92, so I was thrilled to find out that this same location is still open. The interior of the restaurant is lovely; they've obviously remodeled since my last visit, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The pizza still tastes just as amazing as it did back then. A childhood favorite of mine, and tonight we bit the bullet and took the trip to pick up dinner. It was as good as I remember! The Fresh Spinach Stuffed Pizza is beyond amazing. It's been a good 6 years since I've been inside, but seeing it now was fantastic! It must have gotten a facelift since I was last inside, because it is really gorgeous in there. I have a feeling I'll be making the trek more often now, man I missed this place!
I entered the restaurant without any expectations and found it to be a calm and not overly busy place for an early afternoon. My pizza was served within 25 minutes and was cooked to perfection. The portion was just right for one person, and the prices were incredibly reasonable. I highly recommend this spot if you're in search of a quick lunch. I will definitely be returning. The staff were very friendly and accommodating as well.
