Ego Mediterranean Stockton Heath

this was our first visit to the filiale stockton heath, in which usually at ego sheffield and dore. When we arrived at the restaurant for our booking, a coworker stood in the entrance area, who held himself to a table of the guests, it was clear that she was personally acquired. uninhabited with this situation, we stood and waited patiently insecure whether we should continue to drive into the main part of the restaurant. So we stood and stood a bit longer, the whole time was ignored by the waitress who had a conversation with her friends. she only had to scream to us to go through, and someone would sit down, but instead she left us for a ridiculously long time until she complained, came by and do the work she paid! it was not as if she had them back to us and was not aware of our presence, she was aware that we were waiting. if it had not been for the fact that we had a booking, we would have gone out! we finally sat, gave a drink menu and immediately asked what we wanted to drink without being given the opportunity to actually read the menu. we wanted to decide a few minutes, this led to a dirty look from the waitress. when she came back to take the order, she insisted on interrupting and even having the nerve to finish my husbands to a start! when eating arrived, it was okay, nothing special and certainly not as good as other ego restaurants. the flatbread was in the did a very boiled pack, so hard it was impossible to cut. the topping was minimal, which led to an extremely dry eating. the wine was good, but not served cold enough. the personal has not checked us at any point or asked if we want more drinks. we were asked when the same dark haired waitress tasted our teller when we wanted to dessert one, but at this point we wanted to pay the bill and get out. a very disappointing visit if you consider how much we enjoy both the food and the service in other ego restaurants throughout the country.

egos is a popular restaurant and there is a strong young element. I never had a bad meal. My main concern, as an older customer, is that noise. a low deck and no carpets guarantee a part of this situation and the tables are close together so that the total volume of the noise guaranteed high. the service is generally good and the waiters and waiters work hard for their money! I went on my birthday and my wife booked the meal for 18.30 clock and thought it could be a little quieter: it was almost full! in view of the Covid years, we are on the side of the restaurants again and again normal and make profit again. I had tomato soup (not hot enough, although I mentioned how I wanted it) it was also a little thin. I then had bauch port and enjoyed it, although the cracks up was not firm. I am finished with crème brûlée and enjoyed it. my wife enjoyed her meal. our waitress contributed to the pleasure of the meal and was first class. I also enjoyed the primitivo red wine.

Not a good experience, long wait, initial table in the walkway to the kitchen, requested to be moved twice , eventually moved to corner which was fine long wait for starters which arrived cold returned to kitchen another 20 mins finally got starter, over 40...min wait to get main meal, no water on table requested water got it at the end of the night had to ask again for glasses to drink the water got glasses. Had desert then was asked yo vacate our table , wasn't even asked if we wanted another drink or coffee, when we complained the manager said you should have booked the table for longer. Very disappointed. It was their fault meals took so long to be served and the starter was cold.

beautiful atmosphere, choice in restaurant, outside or under glass covered extension . very clean environment. eat delicious, efficiently served. good menu choices and prices. special offers at most days. highly recommended.

A little on the pricy side but the food did not disappoint. The mixed hanging kebab was amazing! Our server Kirsty was very attentive and made us feel welcome. Definitely a place I’d return to.
