The young man who took our order was friendly and pleasant. Overall, the service was good, but the timing of our meal was slightly off. We ordered mint lemonade, soup, salad, koshary, and mixed mahshi. If I recall correctly, the koshary arrived right after we ordered, followed by the lemonade, then the salad, the other entree, and finally the soup. It would be better if the smaller dishes were served before the entrees, or at least all at once, instead of bringing each plate as it becomes ready. Great food, great service and a very clean dining area. The marinated chicken was probably the best I've had in a long time, absolute perfection. Their secret red sauce they serve with the rolled cabbage is addicting. Our waiter was super friendly and helpful. The prices were reasonable for the amount and quality of food they serve you. This place may have just become one of my new favorite places to get a great from scratch meal. They have 2 locations, in Westland and Garden City.
Staff was lovely! We’d love to see more people dining in. We ordered everything we were craving and especially loved the Molokhia and the Koshary. To be an honest reviewer, some of the food didn’t feel entirely fresh such as the rice and mixed mahshi. However we can’t wait to visit the new location.

I strongly recommend trying the macaroni béchamel, hawawshi beef, and chicken tawook meal. The portions are quite generous, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is both relaxed and welcoming. This was my first experience with Egyptian cuisine, and I would definitely go back.
Phenomenal food. Egyptian food is new to me and I will definitely be coming here again. Service is a little absent, but they were polite. Restaurant was clean and has an authentic atmosphere.If you're looking for something new I can't recommend this place enough.
I had a great experience with the garlic whip, sausage, and macaroni béchamel—everything was fantastic. The fresh, warm naan was ideal for dipping in the garlic sauce. Our server was a friendly and attentive gentleman. We will definitely return!
