My wife and I visited the Garmsich area this past summer. We were told that a trip to see Oberammergau was an absolute must. So, we took everyone's advice and made a side trip to this historic town. It was a hot July afternoon so...after walking around and taking a tour, we were told to come here as this place had the best ice cream in town. Now, I did not try all the others...yet...but I must say that my wife and I enjoyed both our ice cream and our cake. Do yourself a favor the next time you are here. Stop by whether it is sun, rain, or snow for that matter because there is no bad time to eat ice cream!
Before we left on our trip, we were told that we had to go to the Eis Cafe Great recommendation. The ice cream was great. Good assortment of flavors. One big scoop is The first time we were there I was a pig I...had the Nutcracker Ice Cup translated from their website. It's a nut-filled sundae, with scoops of ice cream. Tried flavors. Best sundae of my life.
I guess that this the place to be in Oberammergau for a coffee and/or an ice cream. They have an ample outside seating area, from where you can overlook the local street life. Both their coffee and ice creams were good and affordable. A nice...plce with good and friendly service.
Great place to unwind and have an ice cream. It will take you a few moments to chose one, there are so many. All look fantastic. Prices currently around 5.50 Euros each, but they are worth it. Service is good too....ours arrived within 5 minutes.

Immer ein Besuch wert. Grosse Auswahl, gute Qualität. Italianata im tiefsten Bayern! Wir freuen uns jedes Mal, wenn wir in der Gegend sind. Ein Muss für alle Eisliebhaber.
Ich bin nicht der Eisfan, aber wenn ich hier bin führt auch immer der Weg hier hin.So viele verschiedene Eissorten, da ist mit Sicherheit für jeden Geschmack dabei.
Amazing ice cream. A must visit location, especially during the summer when in Oberammergau. The Pistachio was the best I’ve had.
gutes eis, haben beide einen eisbecher gegessen, mit 5,50€ sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, schnelle Bedienung

Good location in town. Very good icecreams and coffee. Our children loved it. Not expensive. We will be back!
