We ate lunch here on our last day of our holiday in Lindau. All previous dining experiences on the island were very relaxed and enjoyable however this time in Schreier we found the service staff extremely unfriendly and inattentive. After lunch, I had a coffee...an I asked for milk twice. It took over 10 minutes for one waiter to aggressively throw the small carton on our table without saying a word, by then my coffee was already cold and not drinkable. Upon request, we also waited for our bill for another 10 minutes. It was not an enjoyable experience and I would recommend people trying out the other available cafes in Lindau which were all amazing and friendly!
so before the rebuilding I would have given the caffeine screamer 5 full stars. the service was very friendly, the cake and the ice tasty. Everything was everywhere. but now the rebuilding: what did the owner think of it? self-service. eating is left behind, the atmosphere and the environment are cruel. that will not happen. the number of customers has also declined drastically. as it is at the moment, I guess it goes down the stream. very bad!
After strolling around the Christmas market and the smell of all the sausages and fried food, we dived into this small café to something satisfying but not as greasy as what the market had to offer. We ordered apple strudel and were so happy that we....My friend ordered it with vanilla sauce and I ordered my with whipped cream. From our table we could see the port and the shops on the market. A pleasant place to stop.
Good view over the port. Fast service. We ordered 2 ice cream suns, a fanta, a coffee and a glass of tap water. To our surprise they charge 50 cents for the tap water!! What a demolition. In most cafes, you would definitely offer free water with your coffee.

If you want excelent food for less money, this place is for you. In this location, where prices are higher than average of the Europe, you can have delicious meal up to 10 Euros!!!
This place is great for the views of the harbor, the mountains and people watching. the service was very slow but with the views you almost didn't notice how slow.
This is a self service café with a beautiful view of the lake. They have a good selection of ice creams, cakes, drinks, etc
Really nice, with all traditional delicious. It's recommended to make a pause in trip and drink a couple of coffee.

only German menu available. Cake is very tasty. The black tea is in good color but the tast is soso.
Nice, simple breakfast. Fresh meats, bread and cheese. Outside atmosphere by the lake.
